Kathleen (Gentry)'s Story
Life
Things here in CHampaign are still great. It is wonderful that you can simply be appreciative for a job, roof over your head, healthy children and love in your life.
My life is pretty great right now. I adore my husband and my kids. All of my brothers and sister as well as my Mom and Dad were together for Thanksgiving and there were no arguements. The only one missing was my oldest son Aaron. He is still in the Army with the 101st out of Fort Campbell, KY. He has already done 1 tour in Afghanistan and will be going back again in March 2010. I pray for his safety and his sanity. God brought him home to me once and I am certain he will do so again. He knows that I cannot survive anything less. My son David is now 16. o scared. It is bad enough that he thinks he is 7 foot tall. He wrestles just like his uncles did. It is fun to watch. He also plays LaCrosse and will be playing soccer. My daughter Rebekah is now 15 and a freshman. Thank God she takes after her father. She is a straight A student that is already taking 7 advanced placement classes. She certainly did not get that from me;-). She is also on the schools JV basketball team and the varsity softball team. My youngest Hannah is now 13. I have to admit,,,,she is definitely my child. Coasts through middle school with b's and c's and is perfectly content with that. She is also on the schools basketball and volleyball team. Both her and Rebekah play softball together year round on a traveling team. Definitely keeps us busy and broke;-)
