Kathleen's Story
My how time flies. It's now 40 years later and I'm lovin' life. I moved away, got married, had 2 boys, moved and moved and moved. I married an Army man and we moved all around, including living in Europe. South Carolina is our home now. My husband retired after 25 years in the Army and now it's my turn for a career. I'm the Ambassador for a textile manufacturer and I love what do. I work with the public, teach, set up programs, demonstrate projects and techniques on TV shows and at Trade Shows, and now I'm moving into blogging and video pod casts.
We have 3 grandsons, ages 16, 11 and 9, all live here and spend most weekends at ...Expand for more
our house. We live in the country and the boys are always outside. The oldest grandson is a great musician. He has a natural talent for guitar and is learning to play bluegrass banjo. He can listen to a song and just set down and play it. The other two are just as talented in other areas, like getting into things. I call them my Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. If one doesn't think of it, the other does. They are the joy of my life and all are extremely smart.
We have a large boxer/pit bull mix who thinks he is one of the kids and a Cockateil that we occasionally let fly around the house. Life is never boring around the Sams house.
