Kathleen's Story
I love to travel. Went on a vacation to Jamaica in January 2011, and fell in love with Blue Mountain coffee and the Jamaican people. My sister, Maureen. and I traveled to St. Petersburg Russia in 2008... ballet, museums, long walks, interesting people. I learned a bit of Russian and the Cyrillic alphabet.. In the fall of 2011, we traveled to New York, where I was born. We visited the 9/11 Memorial in the first week of its opening. It was awe-inspiring to see such a tribute to those murdered. This coming Autumn Maureen & I plan to travel to Germany, where her daughter, Heather, now lives! I lived in England then Germany in the late 1970's, wonderful experiences! I have lived in N. California now most of my life and would not think of living elsewhere.

s. Still love Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones, along with many different kinds of music... I am in a relationship with Lyle Pianowski, and we will celebrate 20 years together this October! We have no children.
I love to cook, bake, camp, walk in the woods, read long novels, dabble in jewelry making, and be anywhere near the Ocean. Went to a high school reunion a few years ago but the class of '70 was not widely represented.
One of the reasons for joining this site is to try to find Barbara Weaver. Does anyone know where she is or her sister, Beverly, or brother, Bob? Her family was very kind to me, and Barbara was my first friend when we moved to Pleasant Hill in 1960. I would love to get back in touch with her, also others I was close to.
