Kathleen's Story
Life
I am new to this site. I was a freind of many groups, and have recently discovered that I have been living in the same community with two other past graduates from Irvington and did not find out until I was placed on a Resident Community Organization that the President is David Moore from Irvington High school and his wife Laurie.
I have been busy in my latter years. I was in a highly abusive marriage for 18+ years and out of all the "Hell" and termoil I was blessed with two beautiful daughters, now 23 and 25 doing beutifully after a long and painful divorce and Federal Protection Program offered to all three of us ladies. Even though we have been in secluded protection, we are now after 10 years facing the real world again and trying to get our lives back into the real world. This happened with the recent marriage of my youngest birth daughter.
I have not only been busy with my daughters, I have done few rare things that have made my life worth living more. I finally did the smart thing and started college. I have earned a Bachelor's degreein Education and am subbing for High Risk Middle and...Expand for more
High Schools in the South Sacramento area and I totally love it. I feel that I am making a difference in some of our troubled youths lives, as they need someone that cares about them and their education and futures. I am currently finishing up one of my Master's Degrees and two more teaching credentials.
MY family has also grown in the past 10 years. I now have 11 children. I have adopted or currently in the process of adopting 9 teenagers of different cultures. the youngest are now 12 and 14 and the second pair of siblings ib the current adopting proceedure, and 4 of the oldes are my step children from my marriage, as they wanted to still have me in the family. So the children range from 12 to 48 (as my stepchildren were close to my age when I was married at 21).
So, that sort of makes a long story short, and I am once again okay and ready to go forward in my life. I do not have any of my yearbooks anylonger, so if anyone knows of a way to get on I woudl love to hear from them, as I got the children and all the debts in the marriage and the ex got all the assets and the house with all our things.
