Kathleen's Story
Life
Following high school, I met and married the father of my only son, unfortunately, that didn't quite go the way I'd always wanted and we decided to go our separate ways. I met a wonderful man with four children of his own (as the tune to the Brady Bunch plays in the background!). Our oldest is 29 with the youngest 20.
I work for a construction management firm in Irving, TX, and all of our children are grown and out of the house.
Our lives took a turn down a more difficult path when my husband had a massive heart attack in December of 2005, and has since been diagnosed with short term memory loss, caused by lack of oxygen due to 3 cardiac arrests. He has made tremendous progress, but the doctors have said that he will never be the same. So, we go on! Our lives really could have been so much worse! The ...Expand for more
Lord works in mysterious ways!
One of my stepsons recently married and then joined the Air Force. He is stationed in Virginia. He and his wife just told us we'll be grandparents, again!
I relax by decorating cakes! I've been trying to get a business going, but, with life as hectic as it is, that's taken a back burner!
I still hear from Alana McKibben, Nancy Friedel, and occasionally Scott Randall and Diane Stutzky. Looking forward to hearing from others!
School
My two favorite parts of high school were choir and theater! There were some wonderful people in both that I think of often, and miss very much.
Choir is where I became a world traveler (okay, it was England). And theater is where I got my first kiss, even if it was by mistake!
I'd certainly love to hear from some of these wonderful people again!
