Kathi's Story
I've been a School Psychologist for 25 years. I've been married for 18 years. I have a daughter, age 29, who has graduated from UT at Arlington with a degree in vocal performance. She has been married for almost 6 years and has a 3 year old daughter and 5 year old son, in addition to teaching voice lessons at a major production company in Dallas. My husband and I also have 2 boys, ages 16 & 17, who keep us going and going.
I always wanted to be a pilot when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. I am a school psychologist and love it!
I like to read, play with my kids, and shop til I drop. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE to listen to my daughter sing.
My hero is my mother. She was always there with the right answer, even if I didn't want to hear it. I strive to be like her, though she was much more even tempered.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Judy Osgood, because she's my sister and friend.

n David Robinson's shoulders at the hospital. Such a nice man. I should have taken a picture!
My biggest surprise in life is my boys. They are so hard to raise but such a joy to love.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the kitchen and bath and add hardwood floors, crown molding, and wide base boards to the entire house. My dream home would be where ever my family is.
There are two teachers I would love to see again. One is Mrs. Barbara Davis from 9th grade to let her know what a powerful influence she was when she taught us about the Holocaust. I try to live my life by speaking the truth even when it is unpopular. The other is Mrs. Pena who taught Spanish 2 & 3 during my Junior and Senior years. I'd like her to know that I use Spanish in my job and have become quite fluent.
From my children, I've learned that a person can overcome so many obstacles. I've also learned that we often revert to past versions of ourselves when under stress. However, the most important lesson I've learned from my kids is the power of love and God's grace can take us through anything.
