Kathleen (Kathie) Turner:  

Life When I graduated I managed the pet shop department of Green Acres Discount until April 1973. I then began working for Southern Bell Telephone (now BellSouth) as an operator. In my career with the telephone company I've had many different jobs, one of which involved climbing telephone poles! I worked in Macon most of my career, but got transferred to Atlanta a few years later. Not married (dated a lot--still hopeful). I've had lots of pets and horses. I am also a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist (a horse masseuse!) which I only do part-time/occasionally. My sister and I go hiking a lot and I love to travel, but I haven't been out of the country yet. (I don't count Alaska and Hawaii as 'out of the country'.) I enjoy movies, camping, gardening, horseback riding, bowling, and theatre. I also enjoy listening to the Art Bell radio show at night whenever I can. I used to work night shift and got hooked on the show then. I adore old-time radio programs and black and white movies as well as Big Band/Swing music.
