Life Update
Now that I am retired I have written a memoir of my travels which was published in 2018.It can be found on Amazon Books and is titled "WHITE GLOVES AND RATTLESNAKES: An Old Broad's Life Travels." It tells of my visits to all seven continents and all 50 states. It's quite thick! Antarctica was both awesome and challenging; India was an eye-opener; Egypt was impressive; China was in major transition; Australia fascinating; and so on. I have had a wonderful life full of twists and turns, never dull! I recentlyfinished another book, a memoir of the Covid pandemic entitled "TRACKING THE PANDEMIC AT THE DOOR: Diary of the 2020-2022 Covid-19 Invasion." It can be ordered directly from me.

I did go into journalism as a career. However, it was not immediate. I took the long way around with both college and career. It would be fun to hear from some friends from school and what all of you have done in the years since we graduated. I left New Jersey for South Florida many years ago, and I do identify myself as a Floridian. My family moved here in 1961, not long after I eloped. It wasn't until I divorced and finished graduate school that I came south permanently. That was more than 40 years ago. I first taught, then was editor-in chief of several international business magazines, so I got to travel extensively. I had a son (who died recently) and I have a daughter. I am very proud of both as well as one granddaughter, and one great-granddaughter. I also have a devoted husband, so I have been truly blessed! The attached current photo was taken in 2018.
