Kathleen's Story
I got married on 09/15/1962, had two children, enjoyed my children. I finally was able to go to college to make my dream of being a teacher come true. I was 34 years when I started, graduated twenty years to the day from when I graduated from high school. I taught school for 25 years as a special ed. ...Expand for more
teacher. The last 16 years of my teaching career was spent in the presence of preschool aged developmently disabled children. Little children are unique! They would accept you even if you had two heads. I supervised 11 aids and 5 classroom. At 60 went into the mental field and retired in April, 2008.
