Life
It is hard to believe that 20 years have gone by! I am currently living in Jackson, Michigan. After high school, I moved to Arkansas for a short time. I attended Harding University. After a couple of years there, I moved back to Michigan and received my teaching degree from Western Michigan University. It was difficult to find a teaching job after college so because of that I substitute taught. I was also a nanny for 2 years. Luckily, as my 'nanny contract' was coming to an end, I found a job. I have been teaching fourth grade for the past 10 years in Jackson. I absolutely love it!!! iversity. I have just recently begun working on my PhD through Western. At this time, I am not in a hurry to complete my PhD because I am not ready to leave the classroom just yet. I also work full-time during the summer. I am a supervisor for the Parks and Recreation Department in Jackson. That keeps me busy most of the summer but I do get to be outdoors in the hot sun all day. I am a walking buff. I walk about 5 miles in the AM and another 5 in the PM. I call that my therapy! I built a gorgeous home in Jackson 3 years ago and I enjoy decorating (and redecorating) that. I always find something new. Sue and I talk just about every day. I enjoy the time that I have with her boys. I look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
