Life I love LA! Been here since 2000. I lived in Hollywood, then moved to the valley, then Laurel Canyon and View Park after that. I now live in Pasadena - which reminds me most of the east coast. I came out here to work for some friends who were billionaires, they moved back east so then I was doing QA at a computer testing lab, then I did some work in the entertainment business (like everyone else here!) I had an office at Death Row Records, as my boss was a video and film producer there. After that I worked for another writer/director/producer in Beverly Hills doing odd jobs, incorporating portraits of his cat into fine art reproductions.. He asked me to work on his indy film, and that is how I made connections and got art department work in the film industry. I moved on to making custom props, and eventually landed as a scenic painter. I did theme painting for Disney and Universal Studios while at different set shops. Sometimes, I would take a day off to do an indy film or a music video and see my old friends from the movie industry.
