Kathryn Glynn:  

Graduated from LLHS in 1965, worked briefly in Roswell, where I was Miss Fire Prevention (my then picture was on a float in a Roswell city parade in 1965). Worked briefly at a stock brokerage in Albuquerque, then became a Stewardess with Texas International Airlines and was stationed in Dallas. After a year I was going to work for TWA as a Stewardess when John Glynn finally came home from the Vietnam War and we married in 1966. At that time a Stewardess could not fly and be married! We had been engaged since 1964. We have now been married 51 years!! While John was in the Navy 24 years, I worked as a professional model, Interior Designer, and Realtor. We have two children, Christina 45 and John 49. We have four grandchildren. Christina's kids are Alexandra 22, Tristan 19, and John's are Brady 14 and Nolan 11.. We have lived all over the US and in Puerto Rico for 4 years with the Navy. John entered the Navy as enlisted and retired as a Lieutenant Commander, graduated from George Washington University, earned a Masters Degree + and retired as a District Director of Homeland Security in 2009. We lived in the Nashville area for 15 years and loved it, but moved to Sun City Center near Tampa Florida in 2015. In 2007 John and I wrote a book about his 5th great-grandfather who signed the Declaration of Independence. The book is "His Sacred Honor" and available on Amazon. John was President General of the descendants of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence (DSDI) for 3 years, a real honor.
