Kathryn's Story

Life Graduated from Herron/IPUI; BFA '76, MAE '79; married Jeff Whetsel in '80, divorced him in '90. Lived in Naples, Italy 80-83, toured Europe. Daughter born in Germany in 83. Lived in southern Georgia (St. Marys, near Jacksonville)84-90 & worked for US Navy. Moved to Indy 90-94 & worked for Indpls. Pub. Schools teaching art. . Got another Masters in School administration (I can be a principal! HA!) Am h.s. guidance counselor; husband is an engineer for Univ. of Iowa. Have two stepdaughters (ages 29 & 35), & one granddaughter age 6. Daughter Sarah (with Jeff Whetsel) is a cancer survivor. Ummmm..I drive a Prius. I still do art, I just don;t teach it. Instead, I guide teenagers! HA!!!
