Life After high school I went to Florida State for 2 years. I was there during the National Championship in '99. At FSU I saw Megan Ayers, Catherine Evanson, and Malissa Romero. I had a great time while I was there! I lived in Smith Hall for a year. The summer of 2000 I went to Spain to study abroad. I wanted to speak fluent Spanish. I can speak the basics, but not fluently. I think you'd have to live in a country for 6 months to pick it up. I only went there for 6 weeks. I visited Madrid, Valencia, Pamplona, Ibiza, Barcelona, and Granada. Barcelona was my favorite! I got to see the running of the bulls, a bull fight, La Alahambra in Granada (one of the seven wonders of the world), and partied in Ibiza and Amsterdamn. In 2000, I transfered to the University of Central Florida because I missed my twin so much, Megan. I finished up my Management Information Systems degree there with a 3.4 GPA. Not too shabby for the hardest Business Major. I was President of MISA, and a member in Delta Sigma Pi, a co-ed business fraternity. After I graduated, the IT market looked bleak. I interned at Oracle Corporation for 4 months, and turned down a Lockheed Martin Intenship for my House of Blues one (what was I thinking!!!) Well, I didn't know who Lockheed Martin was till after I'd been in Orlando for a year. I took a job at Florida Hospital Altamonte working in the ER as a Registration Representative. It was then I decided to go back to school for nursing. I've been taking pre reqs at Valencia Community College and working. I took Microbiology, Psychology, Sociology, Anatomy and Psyology I. I'm taking A&P II and Intro Chemistry this semester. I will find out if I get into UCF's Accelerated RN program in March. Wish me luck, if I don't get in, I'm going to be a Science teacher and do Real Estate in the Summers. I've been with my boyfriend Thomas Cotton for 10 months. We are living together. He has a 7 year old daughter Summer. Who knows what the future will hold for us. I love him very much. I think about my friends and acquantes from SHS often. I hope everyone is still doing good in this bleak economy. I want to know where everyone lives & what everyone is doing with their lives. Who has kids, who is married, etc. Talk to you all soon! Transferred to UCF, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems. Now going to Valencia Community College to take my pre req's for the Nursing program at UCF.
