Kathryn's Story

Happy with my husband, Doug Oplinger. Wonderful two daughters, Katt, a Navy LT, and Nurse married to Dustin Rhine; and Laura Dawn married to Jason Kiernan, a SPC in the 82nd Airborne, with their son, Matthew David, my dear grandson. Still love horses and Laura carries on the family tradition of the sport. She is training with Will Faudree in NC. She hopes to go to 2016 Olympics. Joint Venture Partner with Atlanta's largest private CPA Firm, made Who's Who of America and Who's Who of Science & Engineering many years. After retiring, I was the Founding Coordinator of the United States Eventing Association's Young Riders Advancement Program for the Southeast Region, and Founding District Coordinator of our local chapter of the United States Pony Club, Cohutta Highlanders.
