In 2007 I was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. I began a master's degree in Zoonotic diseases to keep my mind off myself. I successfully completed it in 2008 and began a PhD in Zoonotic diseases with emphasis on the Rabies virus. That led to a free ride for a theoretical dissertation (PhD degree) in viral pathogens with emphasis on cancer viruses. I completed that in 20012. I have been given another free ride for another PhD in Cancer. Currently I am unable to explain what my theory is in an effort to keep it from the public at this particular time. However, this will be completed at the end of this academic year. In the meantime, I go around the country lecturing at both medical schools and veterinary medical schools. And it is 2014 and I am still alive having undergone targeting chemotherapy. I have learned a valuable lesson. Many doctors and hospitals view anyone over sixty as a financial liability and will tell a patient that there is nothing that can be done to help him/her other than to keep the individual comfortable. The medical profession wants to make certain that if one's life is saved it is a worthwhile life. One needs to be his own advocate or have a strong voice of a family member or friend.
