Kathy's Story
Life
After graduating from RB, I've received several different college degrees, and worked as a social worker, elementary teacher, college prof., and a pastor. My husband, Bruce, and I have enjoyed being married for 31 years. We have three great kids: Matt, 27, is a V.P. and partner in the Gallup Organization, he lives in Saudi Araby with his wife, Deb, and two sons. Carl, 24, graduated from the UW in history and the classics and is thinking about going to grad school, and Sarah, 22, just graduated from SPU, and works in marketing at WAMU in Seattle.
We have lived in Washington, California, the Philippine Islands, and Scotland, and now we are living back in the Seat...Expand for more
tle area. Every year we spend several weeks traveling overseas to teach and provide aid in needy nations, mostly through contacts with our former students who live and work in these nations. So far we've been to 22 different countries. For vacations we love Cannon Beach on the Oregon coast and Maui, Hawaii.
I've lost track of most of my RB friends. My favorite memories of high school are of ASB activities, proms, annual staff, and just hanging out with friends. I was hoping there would be a 25 or 30 year reunion for the class of 1970, but there wasn't. Anyone know when we'll have another reunion? I missed the 20th because I was living in Scotland at the time.
