Kathy's Story
Life
After getting married in 1972 and divorced in 1976, I spent my time in Lansing, working for the phone company until 1985 when I went to work for EDS (in the Ross Perot era). During that time, I met and married the great guy I share my life with now. He said, "stick with me,kid, and you'll never be bored". He was right. He introduced me to sailing, its lifestyle and the great folks associated with it. We were both downsized by o...Expand for more
ur respective employers in 2001, so we sold the house in Brighton, stored the furniture we kept, and moved, bag, baggage, cat and boat (44 foot sailboat) to Baltimore where we live aboard. I work with a non-profit that hosts the Volvo Ocean Race stopover here as they race around the world. We will be jumping off to cruising adventures of our own in a few years.
