Life I have been living in Neptune Beach, FL for the past 22 years, living in the same apt. for 13 years. I am fortunate to live across the street from the ocean which is something I have always wanted to do since spending all my summers in Snug Harbor, RI. I was employed with Weyerhaeuser(wholesale lumber co.) for 22 years but this past June 2009 I was laid off due to economic downsizing. I am a very strong person so I haven't let this get the best of me and have taken the summer off to enjoy some down time. I am currently very involved with the American Legion, Post 233 in Palm Valley, FL. I am the Auxiliary President/Membership Chairman for 2009-10. I put in many volunteer hours for this great organization which helps military families. I also work there as a bartender and have been doing this for the past four years. I have been bartending for the past 31 years, mostly on a part time basis but did manage a bar for five years on a full time basis. I love bartending and meeting new people. If you are ever looking for me when I am not at work you can find me on the beach. That is my favorite past time. I walk 3 miles daily and ride my bicycle. You also can find me at some of the local drinking establishments where some very good friends of mine (The Johnston Duo) play. I am currently single and as always enjoying life.
