Life After William Penn
Hi everyone! I am not sure how many people will even remember me. I was that 'church girl' who spent lunch time in the library!
Anyway, I always wanted to be a Psychologist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right. I am now an Educational Psychologist with over 25 years of practical experience and more recently, 10 years post-secondary teaching experience. I fell in love with the field and I hope I was able to inspire the same in my students.
I'm still living in Philadelphia. I have lived several places, but returned to my childhood home several years ago. I am the mother of a son, Jared, who recently turned 21!
The person from my past who I'd most like to see again are Nadine Thomas and Tony Brown, because he was a cool guy and she was funny.
I am hoping (and praying) to relocate to the Atlanta Georgia area, where I'd like to teach full time at one of the HBCU's in the area.
