Kathyann (Kat)'s Story
Life
Finished high school, went to college, got married, taught kindergarten, got divorced (no kids, except the 4-legged kind), worked a multitude of odd (and not so odd) jobs, went to grad school, taught severe special needs students for several years (2 of them in small-town Wyoming); am currently teaching and directing Drama at the middle school level, and love it! It's a lot of work, but I feel very lucky to have such a fun job. I also participate in community theatre (...Expand for more
actor, techie, director) and occasionally work with a local murder mystery group. Volunteering is another key interest of mine, and I enjoy participating with the Race for the Cure, the MS 150 Bike Tour, Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado, the Wild Forever Foundation, the Division of Wildlife, and the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (who also sometimes pays me!). (I sponsor volunteering/fundraising efforts at school, as well, as the NJHS advisor.) Next on the list? Hot air balloon pilot!
