Hey everyone, this is Kathy Cook, or some people called me "Cookie" in the old days. Remember the soccer teams in grade 11 and 12, the girls rocked! We won everything! Played on the tennis team and the field hockey team. The tennis team was fantastic but not because of me that was for sure. After high school I went to U-Vic for 3 years in sciences and then transfered into the nursing program at Camosun. After graduation, I went to Ontario to work and because I specialized in Geriatric sciences, I become involved with nursing home and retirement homes. Eventually moved from London to Toronto where I was the Nursing Coordinator at The Donway Place, one of the largest retirement homes in North America. One of the biggest events in my life were the births of my two daughters, Krista in 1990 and Courtney in 1995, both in Toronto, they were born in Womens College Hospital right downtown Toronto. Unfortunately my marriage did not last, so ended up back in Victoria with the two girls when Courtney was just 6 months old. My friend and savour - Susan McCarten - nee Nage, who is also from Claremont - picked me up and set me on my path again. Now I am the Neurosurgical Coordintor at CBI Health.
