Kathy's Story
Summer 2008 -
Well I guess updating this every three years isn't that great. Oh well, I do what I can. For those who care, I'm still in San Antonio, TX. I've been here since November 2002. If you are trying to figure out if I'm the person you are looking for - Yes, I did grow up in Philadelphia. I moved after 9th grade (1979) to Lake Havasu, AZ. I stayed there until 1988 when I moved to Vista, CA. In 1989, Aaron and I got married and he moved me to Las Vegas, NV, where we stayed until 1995, when Lake Havasu became home again. Finally moved away from there again in 2002, and that's when we came out here.
As for my hobbies and interests, I guess you can say we are a family of Golf Nerds. I played every once in awhile before, but since being out here, we play a lot more and are pretty involved with golf. ually. Anastasia has played for a number of years now and is on the Varsity team for High School. (She's just finishing up 10th grade and has been on Varsity both years).
I've also become the crazy dog lady. We have three now. What I like to refer to as small, medium and large. The small is a beagle we got a few years ago. She's lazy and sleeps alot. The Medium is Buddy - my dog from Havasu - he's about 11 now and was considered the big dog, until Rufus came about. Rufus is Anastasia's dog. We got him last year. He's an Akita/Shepard mix. He was a stray and we took him in. He's head is bigger than mine, but he's just so adorable and dorky you can't help but to love him. He stands about 6 feet tall when he's on his hind legs.
Other than work and golf I can't say we do too much. We like to hit the concert scene and it's funny to think that most bands we see are 30 plus years old. But it's fun and that's what life is about at this age.
