Kathy's Story

I have been in education for 29 1/2 years. I spent 18 of those years teaching third grade. Nine of them were spent as assistant principal. Now I have moved up into the Central Office Staff and work as a Title I coordinator. I am thinking about entering DROP. I just can't imagine retirement but it is close on my heels!! n Education Specialist Degree from McNeese State University. Both of my daughters graduated from LSU and my youngest is now pursuing a Law Degree from LSU. My husband, of 31 years, was ordained a Deacon in the Catholic church 7 years ago. We stay very busy. No grandchildren yet and that is a good thing since neither one of my daughters is married yet. Both will get married in 09.
