Professional Organizations: I am a member of a key women's education Society: The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. I currently am serving as the 2011-2013 Gamma State President. I am also a member of YPEA, OEA and NEA.
Work: I have worked for Yukon Public Schools since February of 1979. I began my career as a Physical Education teacher at Central Elementary. After five years, I moved to Parkland Elementary as a 5th/6th grade Language Arts teacher. In 1995, the sixth grade moved to Independence Middle School. I taught 6th and 8th grade until May, 2010. In August of 2010, I had the opportunity to move to the administration building as an Instructional Trainer. Within a year, I also began working with Professional Development. In March of 2012, I became the Curriculum Director for Yukon Public Schools.".
