Kathy's Story
Staying true to the homebody that I have always been, I have not moved out of Michigan at all. I ventured as far as Oakland County for a few years and then came back to Warren.
My daughters, Nicole (age 22 and just recently graduated from Oakland University) and Morgan (age 14, is a freshman in high school) both are products of the Warren Woods school system. Believe me, it certainly has changed since we were there.
I attended college for a few years and made the decision to stop going to school and work full-time as a legal secretary, which is what I've been doing since 1981.

Much of my time has been spent doing things with and for the kids. Morgan has really taken up a lot of time (not that I'm complaining) because she has had to battle leukemia twice since 1999. She just finished up 2+ years of treatment for a relapse that occurred in 2006. I pray every day that it will not come back again. Morgan relapsed again right before Christmas 2008 with a different kind of leukemia. Previously she had ALL, this time she has AML. She's in for quite the fight this time, but we're up to the challenge.
It's been interesting reconnecting with some of the people I went to school with. So many fond memories. Take care to all who read this.
