Kathie's Story
Life
I grew up in Sunnyvale, California. Went to elementary school at Carson School then to Sunnyvale Christian School then back to Carson again. Then I went to Benner Jr. High, then to Mango and back to Benner. I switched high schools many times. They included Sunnyvale High, Sunnyvale Christian High (in Mountain View!!), Rancho Cotati High, Pescadero High and ended up at Blaney Continuation High School where I finally took the GED when I was 15 and dropped-out on my 16th birthday. I now own my own income tax business and have over 3000 clients. I live in Redwood City, CA and have my office on El Camino Real in Redwood City too. I have been married since 1986. I have 3 of my own children, Kenny age 22, Eryka age 16 and Danny age 10. They are all GREAT kids!!! I like to spend time on my computer. My favorite thing to do is hang out with my family. We go to Karaoke bowling night and to the movies a lot. We love to pack the van full of kids and go to the drive-in. Danny plays soccer and is headed for the pros!!! vacation in Mexico at least once a year. My daughter Eryka spent last summer in Spain going to school and living with a wonderful family there. She had a great time. My mother still lives in the same house in Sunnyvale where I grew up. We visit her frequently. I also have a brother named Jim Fuller who went to Carson, Benner and Sunnyvale High four years before me.
College
I went to Canada mostly from 1990 to 1992. I mainly took baasic education classes. I did not graduate. Wasn't really going for that. Just to brush up on my skills. I still take a class or two every semester just to keep from going brain dead. I have my tax preparers certificate, and have to take Continued Education courses each year to keep it.
Workplace
When I was in High School I worked at Beaver Car Wash for a couple of years. They have a different name now :) !!! Then I took off for a few years. Those are my "lost" years. In 1986 I stated my own business, Taxes Hispano. While in the process of growing my business I worked at Hewlett-Packard for a few years. Now I only run my business.
