Kathy's Story
I don't really remember what I wanted to be when I grew up, but never dreamed I would be doing what I am doing now. I am an RN (since 1987) and own A Caring Touch Home Health Services along with my sister, Karen, and our mom. I never imagined being a nurse and sometimes joke that I got in the wrong line at registration and ended up with a degree.
I am back in Lufkin after living in Waco (1976), Pasadena (1976-1977), Huntsville (1977-1979), back to Lufkin, then Springfield IL (1988-1993), Tyler (1993...Expand for more

I am married to Doug Hamilton from Huntington. I have 3 kids - Lauri (32), Jamie (30), and Jonathan (29). I have 5 grandkids - Alex, Drake, Drew, Reily, and Hunter. Doug has 2 boys and 4 grandkids.
In high school, I was quiet, shy, didn't talk much. But I have made up for it in the past 30 years. I will talk to almost anybody, have no fears about talking to a crowd, but still don't enjoy just "mingling".
