Kathy's Story
I foolishly married far too young, and definitely to the wrong person..... Two kids and nearly 10 years later I re-married and had two more offspring. We lived in Courtenay / Comox B.C. ( Vancouver Island) for about 4 years before moving back to Ontario where we've been ever since.
I got my first Rough Collie (think "Lassie" ) while we were out west, and started breeding them shortly after moving back to Ontario. I have nothing left of the bloodlines I spent the better part of 30 years developing, and have 3 beasties left who all came from another breeder friend. My incredible youngest, is the only one in the family truly interested in the dogs, and we have spent thousands of hours together training, showing, and doing all kinds of demonstrations, pet therapy / visitations etc..
All four offspring have turned out to be truly wonderful human beings, despite me!
The oldest is an Elementary teacher with her her Special Education certification, She blessed us with our little miracle baby November 2011.
The next is in management in the food industry, and has 2 teenage daughters as well as 2 younger sons.

ext in line went to the USA after attaining both of his undergrad degrees here, to do his Ph. D. in Bio - Chemical Engineering and stayed there as a Senior Research Engineer for a major world renowned company.
Last, but not least is my incredible kidlet who has lived with chronic pain for more than half her life after sustaining a spinal injury when she was in grade 8. She never stops, and almost never lets on how much pain she's in, but carries on with whatever task is at hand. Five years after graduating from the U. of Guelph, she has not been able to find work of any kind, so is stuck living at home still with "Mommy and Daddy" -- poor kid!!!
My long suffering hubby has a myriad of health issues that he suffers with, but he still works a 40 hour week year in, year out. The plan is that we either win a good sized lottery or he gets to work until he's a thousand years old Our 35th anniversary is in July 2015 - less than 2 weeks from now.
I am still the avid reader and music lover that I was as a teenager, I love movies, crossword puzzles and will probably never reach the level of gardener that I pretend to be.
