Kathy's Story
After graduating from San Ramon Valley High, I continued to work at my father's auto repair shop, Pioneer Auto Service, until 1989 when I moved to Nashville, TN to marry my husband, Steve. During that time I also earned an accounting certificate from DVC.

ccounting department. I eventually worked my way up to corporate tax accountant. I worked there until my second daughter was born in 1995.
After leaving the workforce to raise my two daughters, I continued to keep busy with bookkeeping from home. I recently started managing my youngest daughter, Jenny Tolman, a country singer/songwriter. My older daughter, Katherine, works in commercial real estate in South Florida.
