Kathy's Story
After graduating I went to TX Woman's University. But did not finish until about three years ago and graduated from Peru State College here in Nebraska with a degree in Elementary Education.
It was at this time, in March for 2006, that I lost my precious sister, Debbie, to bone cancer. It was in May of 2006 that I graduated, with Honors.
For many years I worked at Union Pacific Railroad as Clerk/Train Operator in Spring, TX. Union Pacific consolidated all regional offices to Omaha, NE in 1989 and this is where I've been since. I have has a career in the Real Estate industry during this time and most recently teaching.

have two daughters, Jessica 22, who is studying a RN course in college, and Chelsea, a History Arts/Architectural major at UNO.
My husband, Steve, is still with Union Pacific Railroad, and will be retiring August 2010. We will be retiring back in Texas, where my family still lives. Of course, I still have 15 years to go before I retire. Oh, well.
I am looking forward to living back in Texas so I'll at least be closer to my family. In addition to my two daughters Jessica and Chelsea, I have two older step-daughters, and between the two of them I have seven grandchildren. I also have four nephews and 1 grand-nephew. The more the merrier, I say.
