since I lived there, Belen will always and forever be my hometown. My grandmother was a teacher there. I felt like I knew everyone and it was HOME. I'm so glad I got to grow up there.
Along with raising a family, I worked in newspaper and publishing most of my working career, and retired in 2009. I still live in the small town we raised our children in and the house my husband and I built in 1975. I love traveling and spending time with family and friends. Life has been good and continues to be so.
I would love to reconnect with old friends and classmates. Almost 50 years is a lot to catch up on, I know, but it would be fun trying.
