Kathy's Story
I went to UCLA after SKHS and graduated in 1995. I did lighting design for theatre and rock music for a while and then worked at a bunch of concert venues doing various jobs (backstage, runner, lighting, spot operator, box office) until finally settling in box office. I met my husband, David, in my last year of college. We have 2 kids together Dante (12) and Socorro (5) and a son from his first marriage Dylan (14) who used to visit summers and holidays but now lives with us.
At one point David, Dante and I (Dante was about 3) sold everything we owned and quite our jobs and bought an RV and traveled around the US for about a year. We went up and down the west coast, through...Expand for more
Yellowstone, Colorado, New Mexico (panning for gold in Mtns of New Mexico w/ old prospector), through Texas and through Midwest to Ohio, Kentucky, Chicago...eventually to east Coast places like Maine, Boston, upstate NY, DC...we came back to LA for the big New Years 2000 and have stayed ever since.
I now work for Azoff Management doing ticketing for their bands (Eagles, Fleetwood mac, Steely Dan, VH, Smashing Pumpkins, NKOTB, Journey, Def Leppard etc.) My husband is a teacher. My son is a black belt, rides skateboards, loves music and everything Japanese...lol My daughter is 5 so she likes climbing, animals and anything pink HA.
