Kathy's Story
Life
I have been in Texas since 1984. I decided to move away after a nasty ice storm hit & I fell trying to clean off my car. I still have the nasty scar on my leg where I hit the curb!! I was out of there by the end of March. I was working for Nationwide Insurance at the time. They were getting ready to open an office in Irving so I put in for the transfer. It was a rude awakening moving to a new place with no friends or family, but I decided to make it work.
I got married in '88 & after 4 terrible years I got out. The best thing that came out of that was my son Sean. He's 17 & will be graduating this May.
I've remarried & have 3 step kids. David is married and has a daughter. That's right....I'm granny Kathy & loving it!! Laura is 24, working & going to school part time. Rachael is 19, living with...Expand for more

I never got out of the insurance business. Call me stupid but I've always enjoyed each job I've had. I started at the bottom & have worked my way up the ladder.
We have 2 cats. We tried having a dog but he starting eating the house.....chewed the door frame! My husband planted a SMALL tree in our backyard one summer. The dog thought it was a play toy. We came home one day & found the tree uprooted. The dog had managed to knock it over & was dragging it across the yard. Needless to say, the dog now has a new home & family to love!
When Sean was younger I had my experiences with frogs, turtles, birds, lizards, and numerous bugs. The birds were ok but everything else was just nasty!
