Kathy's Story
Life
I have been a 911 Dispatcher for a local police department for the past nine years. I have been dating a police officer for the past ten years. We feel no need to get married. We are quite happy and secure in our relationship. I am divorced and I have a son, who has two daughters. They are six and four. I have a daughter who has a four-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son. My three granddaughters and my grandson are the joys of my life.

To relax I read or take a walk. I love to lose myself in a book or walk off stress in a park.
The wildest thing I ever did in school for dress-up day was to dress up in a baby doll dress, put my hair in pig-tails and carry a teddy bear. I took a red wagon to school and had friends pull me from class-to-class.
My hero is my daughter, Sharla. She's had to overcome so much in life. I always tell her I want to be just like her when I grow up!
