Life
Well hello fellow Generals. I'm up in Seattle now, working for the nonprofit organization that produces a music festival up here called Bumbershoot. During the summer, I manage their volunteer program and year round I do our recruiting, hr stuff, and manage the intern program. It's a sweet gig, and with the exception of the insane hours during the summer, I have time to do some contract work on the side and volunteer on a couple of nonprofit boards. ed Friends of Baseball that gives funding to youth baseball and softball teams for team development and equipment (friendsofbaseball dot org) We're looking for teams to fund - don't be shy!
So we have this reunion thing coming up, and I just want to put in a word that they're not so bad. I attended my boyfriend's reunion this year and it was (I'll admit) a little bizarre, but an over-all pleasant experience - especially with the open bar.
