Katharine's Story
Life
I moved to this area in 1988 and completed my BA degree at the University of Maryland. I started working for a law firm that same year and stayed until 2012. I started at Sidley Austin in 2012 and have been there ever since. I got an MA from George Washington University in 2011.

Workplace
I joined Sidley Austin in January 2012 and am the Senior Manager Information Governance firm wide.
Previously, I joined Dow Lohnes in August of 1988 as a member of the Records Center team. Since then I held a variety of positions including Records Center Manager; Director, Records Management and Director of Special Projects.
Prior to joining Dow Lohnes, I lived in Michigan and had a 10 year career in retail.
