Katie's Story
I am currently working on my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling while also working as a substitute for where else....Winton Woods. I recieved my Bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University in Psychology and have a minor in Spanish. I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Costa Rica for 10 days for an Ecology class I took while at YSU. Basically, going to Costa Rica was the class. ranslatI was the translator for the class since I was the only one who spoke it fluently. The biggest surprise out of my life that has occured was me being diagnosed with epilepsy while undergrad. and how I have handled it. I know require the use of a service dog to help me walk and keep my balance. The friends, whom I thought were my friends turned out not to be true friends, and have stopped speaking to me all because of me having a service dog. That is my biggest surprise!!!
