Katie's Story
Life
I am living in southern California and love it. My husband Jeff and I have a daughter, Amy who will turn 7 in Sept and a son, Mark, who turned 5 in March. I never thought I would know all of the Thomas the Engine characters!
We both teach elementary school, Jeff, 5th grade and I teach special ed K-5. I received my PhD in 1997 and am glad I did that prior to having a family! We are actively redoing our yard so that I have a garden area where I can work and our children and dogs can play. I love being outside and birdwatching.

May with another grandchild due in December. Rob works for Frito Lay. Bill and his wife Kathleen have a daughter and live in Victorville, CA. They have a catering business and Bill works as a nutrition director of a local hospital and teaches part time at Victorville Community College.
As an update: I have a rare neurological disease called myasthenia gravis and recently have had difficulties. I had a procedure called plasmapheresis where the plasma is removed from your blood and you are given your red blood cells back combined with albumin, a synthesized plasma. If you are able to donate blood, please do. There is a national shortage of albumin. My procedure used 30 liters of albumin, the equivalent of 70 people donating blood.
