Katy's Story
Went to Penn State and got two BAs (in journalism and anthropology), moved to Boston for nine months, moved to New York City for eight years, got married (in Greece) and then moved to Knoxville, TN, in 1988. Had a daughter in 1993 (who went to the University of Pennsylvania). Got divorced, but stayed friends and stayed in Tennessee, loving life near the Smokies. Fun in the Smokies, published by the Great Smoky Mountains Association in 2012), wrote a smartphone app (Smoky Mountain Travel Guide, produced through Sutro Media) and wrote a children's picture book (The Banana Police, published by Willow Moon, 2012). Also work as a freelance editor for a bunch of authors, some of them on the New York Times bestsellers list. Life has been pretty good to me! Still friends with Margot Berkey and Tracey Baldwin.
