Katy's Story
Life
I got married in 1990, to a great guy I met in college. We have two children, Christina, age 13 and Lily, age 10. We live in the Berkshires and love it here. Life is busy. I quit my job to return to school. I am working on a PhD in Social Work at UCONN. I had worked for the Commonwealth of MASS for the past 15 years as a social worker. N. I have taught at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA), UCONN, Wesfield State College and Springfield college. I love teaching and a PhD will allow me to teach full-time. In my spare time, I have a truffle business (the chocolate kind,) co-lead a Girl Scout Troop, teach water aerobics and strength classes at the YMCA, do trainings for foster and adoptive parents and volunteer at PTO.
