Katy's Story
Life
I am married (since 2/2002), we have two children. My stepdaughter Brittany is 12 and our daughter Mikayla is 5. I love being a mom it is the best job in the world! For those of you who know me, you know that my mom wasn't the greatest and my dad really wasn't a part of my life. That is why I chose to be the best parent I could be and shower them with all the love and affection I could give! We also have a dog, his name is shadow. He is a Boston Terrier and he is 8 months old. We did have a dog named boss (same breed) but he passed away in Feb 06 during a simple grooming visit - yes we questioned it too. were all very sad about that - he was like our son! We built our first home and that was really fun, being able to design specific things that you want and pick out colors. I am currently pursuing my lifelong dream to become a nurse. I don't have much more to go. I am so ready to go to work! I miss all of my old friends and wish we could all reconnect and have a huge party! At times I miss my old lifestyle so carefree - but I would never trade my new family oriented life for a million dollars. We recently went to Hawaii to celebrate our 5th Anniversary - it was so beautiful! I would love to live there and guess what nurses are needed there too :) aloha
