Katy's Story
Life
Graduated from CCHS in 1999. Attended Virginia Tech (GO HOKIES!!!) from 1999-2001 when I transferred to Clemson University (C-L-E-M-S-O-N!!). While at Virginia Tech I worked on campus at a document delivery firm and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, a women's fraternity. I transferred to Clemson for the Spring 2002 semester and graduated with a B.S. in sociology, a concentration in criminal justice, and a minor in psychology in August 2004. divorced in January 2006. While in school in South Carolina I worked at Mr. Knickerbocker in downtown Clemson, as well as managed Hound Hollow Farm, a private horse farm in Pendleton, SC, specializing in Arabians. After graduation I worked at a group home for adoloscent girls, ages 9 - 21, that specialized in the treatment of sexual abuse. In July 2005, I moved to Leesburg, VA, to manage the American Academy of Equestrian Science. In September 2005, I moved back to Carbondale, IL.
