Kay's Story
Life
Being an Air Force brat, you get moved around alot. Thus after 2 high schools and 3 colleges, I stayed in one place long enough to graduate from Univ. of So. Calif. with a degree in Physical Therapy, in 1970. Then I kept up the military tradition with 2 yrs in the Navy at the Philadelphia Naval Hosp as a PT. Met my husband there and moved to Michigan, his hometown, where we still live. He is an engineer with GM. Later I went back to school and became a CPA, which I should have done fro...Expand for more
m the beginning. I loved taking bookkeeping at KHS, that should have been a clue. (But in '65, women were still secretaries, teachers and nurses.) We have 2 children, our daugther is a manufacturing engineer for GM having gradutated from Mich Tech Univ. She is engaged to be married in 2002. Our son is a Senior at the Univ of Mich, studying Engineering also. Life has been very good to us. I would love to see Kodiak again. Of the 32 places I've lived, I think Kodiak will always be my favorite.
