Kay Little:  

After graduating from high school, I attended Ricks College in Idaho for two years, then BYU (Provo, Utah). After graduating from BYU with a degree in Physical Education, I went back to the midwest, where I met my husband James Little. We were married in 1975. We lived in Lincoln, Nebraska for a year where I taught P.E. at Everett Jr. High. After living in Lincoln we moved to Lakeside (San Diego Co.) where we have lived ever since. We have three daughters and a son, and seven beautiful grandchildren! I have taught elementary school for the past 13 years, and was named the Lakeside Union School District's "Teacher of the Year" for the 2004-2005 school year. I became National Board Certified in Nov. of 2005 in Literacy, and completed my Master's Degree in August of 2005. I teach second grade at Lindo Park Elementary School. I love literacy and technology! In October of 2004 my husband and I traveled to Brazil to pick up our son, who was completing two years of missionary service. We traveled for two weeks with Tyler, as well as our daughter Emily and her husband who both had previously lived and served missions in Brazil. It was an incredible experience!
