Kay's Story
Life
I've lived in the UK for 40 years now. I retired from work at the U.S. Embassy/London at the end of 2011 after almost 22 years of government service.I also worked part-time for the John Lewis Partnership for 13 years, overlapping with my Embassy time. year. Previously, I was married to an American for 18 years but we divorced in 1988. I had a British partner/husband for 23 years until his death in 2011. In 2021, I bought a condo in Knoxville, TN. My daughter lives there full time and my husband and I visit frequently. My sister and her family live in the area which is why I chose East Tennessee. My granddaughter is an Oncology Nurse in the Dallas area. Very proud!
