Kay's Story

Where do I start? College: U of A, graduated in '67...too fast! Took me until 1974 to go to law school. Practiced in LA for 15 years as a corporate/real estate litigator, then bought and ran a business in Hollywood called the "Hollywood Palace." With a 3rd back surgery staring me in the face, I sold the business and leased the building. First marriage was for 27 years, the first 3 of which were really good! I have always known my tenacity was both a blessing and a curse. Remarried in 2002 and moved back to my hometown (where I lived until I was 10) of Chickasha, OK...which I really love. Its a small city ...Expand for more
with a wonderful small Fine Arts College. A traffic jam here is waiting for the car a block away before backing out because otherwise that would be rude! Have lots of old and new friends here. Have had a small farm in Burgundy, France for years where we live about half the year. It is truly heaven. No children (hence the law school), but lots of nieces and nephews and they are now having babies. Mom is still with us and will be 91 next January. She lives 6 blocks away but is so busy she is never home! I love seeing everyone at our reunions and keeping in touch between if I can. Hope to see everyone in Oct.

One of the most beautiful places we have ever been! Deep into Norway in a fjord that is breathtaking! How lovely to get to see it!!! Just incredible, to quote my husband. How lucky I feel just to be here.

A new member of the family...a 3 week old baby squirrel that fell out of our pecan tree. His name is Petey and we will raise him to be released into our garden! So sweet!
We took a little trip to Toronto and then a car to Niagara Falls. Great time!!!
Departing the lovely town of Pitton on the north the south island of New Zealand. It reminds us of the Us in the 50s. Lovely cruise so far. Hope all are well back at home!
Hello to all from Sydney!!! We did the Sky walk at the Sydney Tour today and it was wonderful! We sail tonight.
Rain forest in Cairns Australia from the tram. How delightful!
This is our sweet farmhouse in the boonies of France. The large dark doors on the right are the barn and so are not part of the residence. The peace and quiet cannot be beaten. Oh, how I love it here!

Arrived here 3-4 days ago. This is the most peaceful and beautiful place I have ever been. This photo is from the cabana outside our Villa, showing the small pool looking out at the rice paddy we are surrounded by. The vill
Saying goodbye to London as our ship departs from London on the Thames. We had a lovely time here but are looking forward to this trip!
Last night was the Bali New Year. The custom is that each village spends 3 months constructing paper mache evil spirits like this one (they are struggling to get this one under power lines with the crowd gasping as they wer
Our last morning to hear the wonderful chimes for our breakfast. We leave at noon. This has been the most incredible trip. Phillip did an amazing job in planning this journey!
This is a picture from last summer before the surgery. Perched on my arm is Diabla! I seem to be the only one she likes.
