Kay's Story
Life
Since graduation, I went to college, married Dave who graduated from Mounds View in 1964, moved to Alaska. After 10 yrs. moved to Vermont where we raised our two boys. Dave's dad was sick so we moved to NM in early 90's. We live in a beautiful canyon with a fantastic view of the mountains and white sands. I have done social work type jobs all my life. ays enjoyed art and I now have my own art studio. We built an earth sheltered home facing south of course. We pay nothing for heat nor air conditioning. last summer the temps outside were 100 degrees plus all summer. So after living in our "dream home" for 2 years, and after the death of Dave's mom, we decided that since life is so short we should move to Washington where our oldest son lives, oh...and they have two sons. So here we are one hour from Seattle, 2 hours from the coast, 20 minutes to Mount Rainier....we love it.
