Kay's Story
After graduating, I married Curtis Aldredge, and we still live here in Pollok. He worked at the Paper Mill for 29 years, until it closed and I worked mostly in retail, Furniture/Appliance stores until January, 2002. That's when Curtis and I opened an Antique store in downtown Lufkin. We named it JUSTIN WYATT'S, after our grandson. The store was at the...Expand for more
corner of First and Shephard, and when the street construction reached our front door in October 2004, we had to close and move on.
In June of 2005 Curtis became an independent contractor with FEDEX Ground. We have 2 routes and a supplemental van and it takes both of us to run the business.
We have one daughter, Jennifer and one grandson, Justin.
