Kaye's Story
Hello out there! If anybody cares, I married a perfect stranger at 19 and had three children. The first was Christina, followed by Thomas and Daniel. They are grown, married and out of the house now(!) The second marriage was happy, but short -- 10 years. Now, I am finally married to the right man! He was my childhood sweetheart and we are happy. (Whew!)
I was diagosed with colon cancer 12 years ago, and was really through the mill as far as chemo / radiation / surgeries were concerned. BUT, I have been in remission for almost 10 years now, and am trying to enjoy whatever time I can squeeze out of life on the e...Expand for more

I suppose it is no secret that I despised high school. I'll never go to a reunion, and I don't care if I never see that place again. I was (am) strange and there was simply no place for me there. I was afraid all the time. (Seems silly now).
I was placed on disability two years ago due to the aftermath of some nasty cancer surgeries and three six-month rounds of chemo. Being home has given me the opportunity to become the author that I always dreamed of being, though, so there are blessings to be found in just about anything!
